Sunday Open Houses for March 18, 2012
the new iPad
A few days ago, Apple announced that they will be releasing their new iPad on March 16th, 2012. I won’t go into the specific details of the new device; you can go to the Apple website for that. What I want to say is that I want to upgrade my original iPad to the new iPad. I pre-ordered the original iPad the day it became available. I arrived at the Ala Moana Apple store on launch day and happily purchased the device. The iPad has totally changed how I read books and email, how I surf the web, and how I watch movies. I am extremely happy with the original iPad. But I also noticed how light and thin the iPad2 is and am leaning towards the new iPad for this very thing. Not to mention the increased resolution of the camera and video, this will be great to have too. I’ll probably go with the 32 GB version, wi-fi only as my original iPad is the 64 GB version. What will you do?

Happy New Year!
As we come close to the end of 2011, I’d like to thank you for working with me and giving me your business. The year may have been difficult for some, but keep pressing forward. The new year will be one of anticipation and hope! I am working on my goals for 2012, as well as my dreams for the future. I wish you well – have a safe and prosperous new year!
Aloha,
Jordon W.Y. Wong, Jr.
Happy Holidays!
Wow, Christmas Day is less than 2 weeks away! Hope you’re finding time to enjoy this holiday season. This coming weekend, my daughter will be performing in Ballet Hawaii’s Nutcracker performance. For more information – 2011 Nutcracker Performance. This year, she will be one of the “Chinese” dancers.
As this year closes, I’m committed to creating new goals for 2012. I will commit them to writing and track my progress. I will also create short-term and long-term goals which will keep me busy but on track. I think it’s less productive to be busy with no goals. You’re spinning your wheels and not going anywhere. It’s better to be busy, on focus and with an end in mind.
Enjoy the rest of your year, and have an awesome 2012!

Social Media
As you can see, to the right I’ve added social media icons. Click on any one of them and follow me. You can also easily email me too.
On another note, the Hawaii Real Estate market is historically entering its most busiest season – Summer! Housing inventory is near its lowest levels and mortgage interest rates are still great! Let me know if you’re looking for your dream home and I’ll be happy to assist you.
QR Codes – You’ve seen them before
QR “Quick Response” codes have been around for a while and are starting to become mainstream. To use them, all you need to do is to download a QR code reader to your smartphone. If you have an iPhone, Android, or Blackberry smartphone you’ll be good to go. Go to the marketplace and search for the QR code reader. Download the app to your phone and then you’ll be ready to explore and use QR codes. I’m attaching one here that will take you to Marcus & Associates’ Sunday Open House posting. Let me know what you think.
Donations to Japan
To assist in the relief efforts to help those affected by the earthquake in Japan and tsunami throughout the Pacific you may donate here – The American Red Cross.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the people of Japan.
