Happy New Year!

Good Bye 2011, Hello 2012!

As we come close to the end of 2011, I’d like to thank you for working with me and giving me your business.  The year may have been difficult for some, but keep pressing forward.  The new year will be one of anticipation and hope!  I am working on my goals for 2012,  as well as my dreams for the future.  I wish you well –  have a safe and prosperous new year!

Aloha,

Happy Holidays!

Wow, Christmas Day is less than 2 weeks away!  Hope you’re finding time to enjoy this holiday season.  This coming weekend, my daughter will be performing in Ballet Hawaii’s Nutcracker performance.  For more information – 2011 Nutcracker Performance.  This year, she will be one of the “Chinese” dancers.

As this year closes, I’m committed to creating new goals for 2012.  I will commit them to writing and track my progress.  I will also create short-term and long-term goals which will keep me busy but on track.  I think it’s less productive to be busy with no goals.  You’re spinning your wheels and not going anywhere.  It’s better to be busy, on focus and with an end in mind.

Enjoy the rest of your year, and have an awesome 2012!

Social Media

As you can see, to the right I’ve added social media icons.  Click on any one of them and follow me.  You can also easily email me too.

On another note, the Hawaii Real Estate market is historically entering its most busiest season – Summer!  Housing inventory is near its lowest levels and mortgage interest rates are still great!  Let me know if you’re looking for your dream home and I’ll be happy to assist you.

QR Codes – You’ve seen them before

QR “Quick Response” codes have been around for a while and are starting to become mainstream.  To use them, all you need to do is to download a QR code reader to your smartphone. If you have an iPhone, Android, or Blackberry smartphone you’ll be good to go.  Go to the marketplace and search for the QR code reader.  Download the app to your phone and then you’ll be ready to explore and use QR codes.  I’m attaching one here that will take you to Marcus & Associates’ Sunday Open House posting.  Let me know what you think.

Happy Chinese New Year! February 3rd will be the start of the Year of the Rabbit. Here’s wishing you a Prosperous and Successful New Year!

Welcome to 2011!

As we finish the first week of 2011, I’d like to say that it’s been great so far! I’m still playing with my favorite Christmas gift – my new Xbox 360 with Kinect. The Kinect is better than the Wii and Playstation movement accessories. Why? As the Kinect marketing states, your body is the controller. That is very true. Also, the technology behind the Kinect seems so much more different than the other 2. I do have the other consoles too, and they’re good at what they do. One other thing, I’ve been playing some of the other popular Xbox games too and my thumbs are still pretty sore.

Merry Christmas!

I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Enjoy this wonderful time with your family and friends. Have a great 2011!

Happy Thanksgiving!

The year has just flown by, don’t you think? In just a few days it will be Thanksgiving Day. I have many things to be thankful for, specifically my family, friends, and workmates. How about you? Have you stopped for a bit and reflected on your past year? You may be pleasantly surprised at how your year has been so far. I know that it may have been rough for some of you, but be thankful that you have survived.

Looking forward, are you ready for “Black Friday” and the upcoming Holiday season? Plan well and enjoy the season.

Extended Buyer Tax Credit

If you’re thinking about buying a new home or have already started your search, you’re on the right track.  Why?  You have a number of things going for you.  First, the First-Time Buyer Tax Credit has been extended and also gives previous home owners an opportunity to receive the credit.  You can read more about that here (you’ll view a link to realtor.org).  Second, mortgage interest rates are still low which gives you more flexibility in the amount of home you can buy.  And Third, home prices are still affordable.  Don’t miss out on any of this!
